I wanted to buy a smartphone and in a quick decision I bought a nice looking phone with good specs. Unfortunately the Windows Mobile system is so horrible and counter intuitive that I do want the Samsung Omnia, but with the Android system on it. A search on the internets led me to many discussions of other people wanting the same.
Android is open source so it should be possible. Since I am simply not technical enough however, I thought of a way to be able to contribute a bit anyway.

I have a look at the money donated every day and then manually update the front page. Check back tomorrow and you'll see that the amount will be updated. If you provided your name and website they'll be in the contributors list then as well.

Are you simply cashing the money and then moving off to a tropical island to live off that money for the rest of your life while laughing manically all day long?

Although it seems tempting, I wouldn't do that. First of all, I started this whole thing to get Android on my Omnia phone. Second of all, this domain is registered to my name, and I don't live with the illusion that people who can port Android to the Omnia, can't find my address and pay me a visit to kick my ass.. :-)

I am interested in porting Android to the Samsung Omnia, can I keep you up to date of my advancements?
